At 14 cents per pound, or meal, Emerald Coast Food Rescue distributes over 200,000 pounds of food to 50 feeding programs in Okaloosa and Walton County every month.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, meats, breads, pastries, and nonperishable are all staples of Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s deliveries to soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, food giveaways, and similar local feeding efforts. These agencies collectively feed thousands of hardworking families, children, retired veterans, and the elderly every week in our shared Northwest Florida communities.
